Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill
On November 15, 2021, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) joined President Biden and a group of bipartisan, bicameral Members of Congress at the White House for the signing of the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill) that will bring around $6 billion to West Virginia for infrastructure investments over the next decade.
Senator Manchin worked for months to bring this historic investment in our nation's hard infrastructure across the finish line because West Virginians depend on infrastructure - including water, wastewater, roads & bridges, broadband and public transportation - every single day. This roughly $6 billion investment in West Virginia's most urgent infrastructure needs will creating good-paying jobs and help grow our economy for decades to come.
