Account Manager,Star Plastics-Millwood

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-touch, excellent, and professional sales and customer service to external and internal customers
  • Build strong relationships with customers and organizational staff that promotes loyalty, collaboration, and increased revenue between customers and the company
  • Heavy daily and direct customer contact via phone and E-mail
  • Assist in executing and expedite orders, time sensitive shipments on a consistent basis while performing daily sales
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal and external resources needed to deliver orders/products on managed timelines and with accuracy
  • Manage, organize, and maintain accurate customer records, activities, and contacts
  • Listen and work with customers to identify and present solutions for specific needs in a timely manner
  • Remain current on customer needs, preferences, changes and product developments by attending sales meetings, vendor training and trade shows, or reading trade journals
  • Project contract/sales order management and necessary administration
  • Minimal travel required - Some nights/weekends and travel will be required for meetings, training, or customer visits

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years in distribution or inside sales with direct customer contact
  • Intermediate to Expert skill in Microsoft Office software programs
  • Demonstrated success thinking critically and following through on priorities and activities
  • Demonstrated success working across multiple computer platforms in a fast-pace environment
