Quality Control Technician,Superior Fibers-Reedsville

Responsibilities:

• Communicates regularly with Quality Manager, Supervisors, Spinners, and other personnel with the plant
• Take readings with handheld meter device or other measuring tools
• Monitor and adjust binder flow rates on all spinning units
• Perform quality checks on samples
• Record data collected
• Maintain quality control records and documentation
• Assist helpers (laborers) as needed
• Filling out shift reports or other reports as directed
• Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

• High School degree or GED
• 1 year or more Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience
• Excellent technical skills
• Knowledge and experience with measurement tools
• Experience with Quality Management Systems such as ISO
• Experience in data collection and analysis
• Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
