Business Development Representative,Fontem Ventures-Parkersburg

Responsibilities:

  • Take advantage of our platform strengths to advance the Blu product offering and presence in the competitive US market
  • Conduct targeted store level activation strategies
  • Grow a portfolio of revenue-generating partnerships resulting in increasing sales goals each year
  • Lead, build, conduct activities critical to the success of the role, including completing research on current and potential partners, developing a tracking system that maps activities and outcomes, defining metrics and benchmarks and providing regular reports to internal leadership
  • Engage with owners, managers, and store staff to execute pre-planned trade activation programs and creatively develop new "grass-roots" approaches
  • Work in close partnership with Fontem Management team, ensuring highly effective and sustainable procedures that are connected back to the Fontem ecosystem
  • Develop merchandising and promotional materials, inclusive of pricing and rebate metrics
  • Manage all company assets according to policy including corporate payments, contingent funds and supplies and equipment provided by Fontem by taking physical inventories and consistent reconciliation of financial assets
  • Provide timely reporting of all activities performed, territory based information, competitive factors and any ad hoc information requested

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or combination of equivalent work experience, training and certification
  • Minimum of 2 years’ of sales experience in a retail environment
  • Possess a clear knowledge of the Vaping environment to be able to competently communicate with retailers, store clerks and consumers within the Vape Channel
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license issued from the state in which employed
  • Must speak fluent English
  • Highly persuasive verbal communication skills, and excellent written communication skills
  • Poise, confidence, and maturity to interact with senior client levels
  • Goal and action-oriented, with a sense of urgency, drive, and commitment to routinely exceed monthly activity metrics
