Operations Manager,UnitedHealth Group-Charleston
Responsibilities:
-
Coordinate, supervise and be accountable for the daily / weekly / monthly activities of supervisor and team members
-
Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met, such as: production and quality metrics
-
Coordinate work activities with other supervisors, managers, departments, etc
-
Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
-
Provide coaching and feedback to team members, including formal corrective action
-
Conduct annual performance reviews for team members
-
Provide expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and/or providers
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma / GED or higher
-
Ability to work Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
-
Previous experience working in Microsoft Word (ability to create and edit documents) and Microsoft Excel (ability to create spreadsheets, pivot tables and perform data analysis)
-
3+ years of experience in a Supervisory or Managerial role within a professional Healthcare environment
-
3+ years of experience in a Quality and Productivity based environment with an emphasis on continuous improvement through root cause analysis
-
Able to travel as needed (less than 25%)
