Outside Sales Representative,Continental Research Corporation-Charleston
Responsibilities:
- You will cold call with targeted industrial contacts [ie Maintenance Manager, Superintendent, ect.)
- You will develop a daily plan and execute a marketing strategy for designated territory
- You will conduct structured sales presentations to existing and potential clients, including engaging demonstrations of specialty chemicals, and closing on every visit
- You will maintain contact with current clients to strengthen relationships and increase sales
- You will ensure follow-up and response to customer needs in a timely manner
- You will communicate with corporate contacts to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery
- You will work with sales managers to implement growth strategies
- You will utilize a CRM sales tool to handle accounts, maintain call logs and contact info, run reports, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred OR 2-4 Year Degree OR equivalent outside sales experience
- 3+ years Sales Experience (outside sales, retail sales management, or other relevant sales)
- High energy and ambitious, with a “hunter” spirit
- Some Business to Business Sales Experience
- Consistent track record of success both personal and professional
- Some technical knowledge (comfortable using contact management software and/or MS Office)
- Industrial or Chemical sales experience a plus, but not required
