MANCHIN STATEMENT ON MINER DEATH IN BOONE COUNTY

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) today released the following statement on the death of Zachary Grant Harris, a coal miner who was working in Boone County.

“Our coal miners and their families make unthinkable sacrifices every day. Today, we are heartbroken at the loss of Zachary Grant Harris in Boone County. Gayle and I join all West Virginians in holding the Harris family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
