ICYMI: MANCHIN READS LETTER FROM WV RETIRED MINER ABOUT PENSIONS AND HEALTHCARE ON SENATE FLOOR

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) took to the Senate Floor today to read a letter from West Virginian, Delbert. He relies on his pension to live in retirement and support his family, pay basic utilities and cover medical expenses.

Senator Manchin shared his story to urge his Senate colleagues to pass the American Miners Act so that miners across the United States would have secure pensions and healthcare, two programs they were promised when they powered America with coal.
