Icymi: Manchin Speaks At 2024 Boys State Closing Ceremony

Washington, DC – On Saturday, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (I-WV) spoke at the 85^th American Legion Mountaineer Boys State closing ceremony in Weston, West Virginia and delivered remarks to the participants and their families. 

“I am sure each of you discovered something new about yourself as an individual, and the specific role that you play in the future of West Virginia and this great nation,” Senator Manchin said in part. “Our state has contributed so much to this country and it is because of proud West Virginians who have been leaders in their fields. Each of you can be the leader that you have always wanted to see in your government. I encourage you to make West Virginia the home to your creativity and innovation so that we can take our state to the next level.”
