ICYMI: Manchin Speaks At 2024 Rhododendron Girls State

Washington, DC – On Friday, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (I-WV) made remarks and swore in the newly elected leaders at the Rhododendron Girls State in Elkins, West Virginia.

“You all are among the brightest young women in our state and your potential is truly limitless because of your leadership skills, commitment to service, and the successes you have already achieved,” Senator Manchin said in part. “It is my hope that you will seize upon your Girls State experience and bring about real and lasting change in our state, our country, and the world. Just by being here, you have shown that you are ready to put in the hard work – so keep going! May God continue to bless you in all that you do, and May God continue to bless our great state of West Virginia.”
