Manchin: $4.9 Million For Broadband Access Grant For Businesses In West Virginia
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV), a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced $4,960,000 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to expand broadband access in parts of Monongalia, Marion and Preston Counties.
“Access to broadband is crucial to the health of West Virginia businesses and communities. Without access to quality, dependable broadband coverage, West Virginia businesses simply cannot compete in the 21st century economy and our communities suffer because of it. This is why I have made improving broadband access across West Virginia one of my top priorities and applaud the USDA for investing in our state,” said Senator Manchin.

- $3,000,000 – Preston County Economic Development Authority
- $1,960,000 – ClearFiber, Inc.
