Manchin Announces More Than $1 Million for WV Maternal Health Services

Washington D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) announced $1,042,574 in funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for West Virginia Health and Human Resources for Maternal and Child Health Services.

“Supporting the health of our mothers and children is one of the most important things we can do for West Virginia families,” Senator Manchin said. “This funding will support programs that invest in the health of West Virginia mothers and children. Healthy children learn better, play harder and grow up stronger. I’m encouraged to see this funding head to West Virginia.”
