Manchin Applauds Coalfields Expressway Progress

Washington, DC – Today, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) applauded the progress made on the Coalfields Expressway which connects West Virginia’s southern counties.

“Today is a great day for Southern West Virginia as we celebrate the major progress made on the Coalfields Expressway, connecting our state from Slab Fork to Mullens. During my time as Governor, I worked to get the funds and flexibility needed to complete this project, and I’m proud of everyone who has worked tirelessly to make this a reality. This is a wonderful achievement for West Virginia and I look forward to seeing the next section of the Expressway completed.”
