Manchin Calls For West Virginia Strong Nominations

Washington, DC – Today, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) called for West Virginians to nominate their friends, family, neighbors, or co-workers for being West Virginia Strong during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Every West Virginian knows how tough we are and that when we work together, we can get through difficult times. Our state has seen our fair share of hardships and challenges, but we always get through it together. As President Abraham Lincoln said, ‘We all have better angels in us.’ This is a time to let that angel fly. I’m calling on West Virginians to share stories of someone helping their neighbor, the selfless efforts of our first responders, our tireless teachers, and all of our community members who help each other through these times. Share these stories with me at WVSTRONG@manchin.senate.gov to help us all remember that we’ll get through this together and that we are West Virginia Strong,” said Senator Manchin.
