Manchin, Capito Annouce $1.2 Million from EPA for Pollution Control
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) today announced $1,238,815 in funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for controlling surface water pollution, preventing surface water contamination, and implementing an effective underground storage tank state regulatory program.
“Clean water is essential to a community’s health, economy, and happiness,” Senator Manchin said. “This funding will ensure West Virginia has the proper infrastructure to keep its water away from the pollutants that can too easily contaminate it. I will continue to fight for funding that improves West Virginian communities.”
