Manchin, Capito Announce More than $1 Million for Flood Recovery Efforts in West Virginia
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) today announced $1,060,209 from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the State of West Virginia.
This $1 million grant will be used by the Nicholas County School District for emergency protective measures for several facilities damaged as a result of the historic flooding in West Virginia on June 23, 2016.
