Manchin Statement on Flooding in North Central and Northern Panhandle West Virginia

Charleston, WV. – Today, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) released the following statement regarding the flooding in Marion, Harrison, Monongalia, Wetzel, Marshall and Ohio counties.

“Today Governor Justice declared a state of emergency for six West Virginia counties because of extreme flooding,” Senator Manchin said. “I’ve been in touch with state and local officials and my office is ready to assist in any way possible. Gayle and I send our thoughts and prayers to everyone impacted by this flooding.”
