Manchin Statement on Safe Return of 3 Americans That Were Held Captive in North Korea

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) released the following statement following the safe return of Kim Dong-chul, Tony Kim and Kim Hak-song after being held captive in North Korea.  

“I am thrilled to see the return of these Americans after more than a year of confinement in North Korea. I congratulate President Trump and Secretary Pompeo on this accomplishment and appreciate their commitment to these necessary negotiations. Gayle and I join all West Virginians in praying for these resilient Americans as they return home.”
