Manchin Statement on Synagogue Attack in Jerusalem
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) today issued the following statement on the heinous attacks at a synagogue in East Jerusalem.
“I was saddened and appalled to learn that three Americans and a Briton, at least some of whom were reported as rabbis, were murdered while worshiping at a synagogue in Jerusalem today,” Senator Manchin said. “Palestinian leadership must take immediate action to end violence directed at Israeli Jews and condemn terrorists and their supporters. I join the American people in praying for the victims of this heinous attack as well as their families and community members. We continue to stand with Israel as it confronts the menace of this terror.”
