Manchin Statement On The Death Of Miner Adam DeBoard

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) today released the following statement on the death of miner Adam DeBoard of Craigsville, as result of a fall yesterday in a Greenbrier County mine.

“As West Virginians, we know that our hardworking and patriotic miners put their lives on the line every day when they enter the mines to help power this country, and we are deeply grateful for all they contribute. Although we know the risks, it doesn’t ease the heartbreak we feel whenever we learn of the tragic loss of one of our brave neighbors. Gayle and I send our hearts out to Adam DeBoard’s family and loved ones, and we, like all West Virginians, will keep them in our prayers.”
