Manchin Statement On The Passing of Delegate Dale Martin

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) today issued the following statement upon learning of the passing of West Virginia House of Delegates member Dale Martin.

“Gayle and I send our thoughts and prayers to all of those who are mourning the untimely loss of Delegate Dale Martin, especially to his wife Helen and his son Josh,” Senator Manchin said. “I knew Dale for many years and always respected his steadfast dedication to the people of Putnam, Mason and Jackson counties. Dale was a strong man who stood up for what he believed in, never wavering. While Dale truly will be missed, his commitment and determination to the people of West Virginia will forever live in our hearts.”
