Manchin Statement On The Passing Of Former West Virginia House Speaker Bob Kiss
Charleston, WV – Today, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) released the following statement on the death of former West Virginia Speaker of the House, Bob Kiss.
“Gayle and I are incredibly saddened by the death of former West Virginia Speaker of the House Bob Kiss. Bob and I worked together during our time in the state legislature and during my tenure as Governor. Bob exemplified the best of West Virginia and was dedicated to making the state the best it could be. After nearly two decades serving the people of West Virginia, he leaves behind a lasting legacy. Gayle and I encourage all West Virginians to join us in praying for Bob’s wife Melinda, their children Carter and Cameron, friends and loved ones during this difficult time.”
