Manchin Statement on West Virginia Manufacturers Visiting with Donald Trump

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) today released the following statement on West Virginia manufacturers visiting with President Trump at the White House to discuss tax reform.

“I’m proud of the West Virginia manufacturers that joined President Trump at the White House today to talk about the need for comprehensive tax reform. I’ve always said that West Virginia has the most dedicated workforce and that when given a fair shake, we can compete with anyone. Manufacturing is the backbone of our country and I’d like to recognize every hardworking West Virginian working in the industry. I will continue working with President Trump on a tax code that benefits West Virginia’s working families, small businesses and those looking to take advantage of the business opportunities available in our great state.”
