Manchin to Wrap Up State Work Period with Visits to Italian Heritage Festival, WVU v. Marshall Game, and UMWA Annual Labor Day Celebration
Washington, D.C.– United States Senator Manchin (D-W.Va.) will wrap up the August state work period this weekend with visits to the Italian Heritage Festival in Clarksburg, the Annual Friends of Coal Bowl at Mountaineer Field in Morgantown, and the UMWA District 17 Annual Labor Day Celebration in Racine.
“I have heard from so many West Virginians this month on the things we need to do to rebuild America and keep this country strong, and I am grateful for the opportunity to take your thoughts, ideas, and concerns back to Washington with me,” Senator Manchin said. “This weekend will be a great time to once again celebrate the great state of West Virginia and show my pride in our people and our strong traditions. I am so looking forward to great food and friends at the Italian Heritage Festival in Clarksburg, a thrilling game between two strong rivals in Morgantown, and an opportunity to honor West Virginian’s first-rate work force at the Labor Day celebration in Racine.”
