Statement from Senator Joe Manchin on the Passing of Elizabeth Edwards

Senator Joe Manchin today released the following statement regarding the passing of Elizabeth Edwards:

"Elizabeth Edwards was a courageous and passionate fighter for those less fortunate. She will forever inspire all of us to do what we can to better the lives of others. Gayle and I send our thoughts and prayers to the Edwards family as they go through this extremely difficult time."
