Tuesday: Manchin to Deliver Floor Speech Commemorating First Anniversary of Upper Big Branch Mine Tragedy
Washington, D.C.—U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) will deliver a speech this morning on the Senate floor commemorating the one-year anniversary of the tragedy at Upper Big Branch Mine that killed 29 miners.
Later tonight, Senator Manchin will also attend a memorial in Whitesville, West Virginia marking the first anniversary of the Upper Big Branch Tragedy. The memorial will be held at the Whitesville Elementary School Gymnasium in Whitesville.
