Nominated as Today’s Better Angels is Director John David and the entire team at the South Appalachian Labor School, which recently received 45,000 face coverings for free distribution to the public. The shipment came in cooperation with the WV Rural Health Association and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response in Washington DC. Distribution plans are being developed for social service agencies, food pantries, summer programs, and post offices with special emphasis to serve people who live in rural locations. Distribution will involve SALS, YouthBuild participants, and members of Americorps.
