Friday: Manchin Takes 'Rebuild America' Tour to West Virginia State Fair
Will also make stops at Pocahontas County Courthouse and in downtown Marlinton

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) will today take his “Rebuilding America” tour to the West Virginia State Fair, the Pocahontas County Courthouse and downtown Marlinton. During these visits he will speak with residents about their commonsense concerns, priorities, and ideas to spur job creation and create certainty in our economy.
“This week I am talking about how we can rebuild America – and spur the type of job creation and economic growth that will create confidence in this country once again,” Senator Manchin said. “America is the greatest nation in the world, and it’s time that elected leaders in Washington put partisanship aside to come together behind the shared goal of making America strong. I am traveling to more than 20 counties this week to talk to West Virginians about ways we can rebuild America, and I look forward to hearing the ideas that my constituents have to share.”
Senator Manchin will continue his “Rebuilding America” tour next week with events in Huntington and Wheeling, as well as stops in Wayne, Mingo, Wetzel and Marshall Counties. He will hold a town hall meeting in Harrison County at 6 p.m. on Tuesday night.
