Manchin to Wrap 'Rebuilding America' Tour with Town Hall Meeting in Clarksburg
Will also deliver keynote remarks at Wheeling Chamber of Commerce Lunch
Additional stops are planned for Marshall and Wetzel County Courthouses
Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) will tomorrow conclude his “Rebuilding America” tour with a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. at the Waldomore in Clarksburg. Since beginning the tour in Charleston last week, Senator Manchin has visited about 20 counties to speak with business and labor leaders, students and residents about their commonsense concerns, priorities and ideas to spur job growth and create certainty in the economy.
“In my travels across the state throughout the last week I have heard the same thing over and over from West Virginians: Washington needs to focus on American jobs, strengthen the economy, reduce unnecessary regulations and reform the tax code. I could not agree more – it’s time to rebuild America.” Senator Manchin said. “I hope residents will join me tomorrow at my town hall in Clarksburg to share more commonsense concerns, priorities and ideas for how we can boost job growth and create the type of certainty that West Virginians need and deserve.”
Senator Manchin will also deliver the keynote remarks at the Wheeling Chamber of Commerce lunch at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow and make stops at the Wetzel and Marshall County courthouses.
