Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) tomorrow will visit Berkeley and Jefferson counties to talk about the employment and economic issues facing residents and businesses in the Eastern Panhandle. He will speak with local leaders and community members about current challenges and how everyone can come together to find solutions.
“The Eastern Panhandle is an area of our state where we have experienced tremendous growth, but at the same time, I know that folks are still struggling with the challenges facing our economy, unemployment and the rising price of gasoline,” Senator Manchin said. “I look forward to hearing from local residents tomorrow about their concerns and commonsense priorities as we continue working together to stay competitive and to strengthen our state and this great nation.”
