Manchin Commemorates The 80th Anniversary Of D-Day With Bipartisan Colleagues In Normandy

Normandy, France – Today, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (I-WV), member of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee, commemorated the 80^th Anniversary of D-Day in Normandy with a group of his bipartisan Senate colleagues.

“Freedom is not free. We know that. The ultimate sacrifice was made here and it will never be forgotten. I’m just proud to be a part of this today to say thank you to all of those who made the ultimate sacrifice,” said Senator Manchin.
